Any dust accumulating on the periphery of the cylinder is efficiently removed by the scraper blade in contact with the periphery of the cylinder and inclined at an obtuse angle with respect to the direction of rotation. The blade is enclosed by a right-circular cylindrical pneumatic duct preceding the blade and forming a slot with the periphery. The exterior of the duct is provided with nozzles terminating adjacent the slot to generate a circular flow of air in the duct.
