Electrical contact pairs are opened or closed by a snap-action. The switch consists of a bridge contact operated by a slide through hinged arms, connecting pairs of contacts with each other. Hinged arms (21, 22) are arranged symmetrically to each other and they are hinged on a slide (16). Their other ends are movably held in the bridge contact (11) against the pressure of one or more springs (27).
