The terminal nozzle for fixing a coaxial cable, partic, h.f cable, to a cable armouring comprises a pressure ring retaining the cables external conductor in an axial direction and an associated slit sleeve embracing the external conductor. So as to avoid any unequal distribution of pressure on the cable periphery which otherwise leads to disruption of the characteristic impedance of the cable a peripheral slot or groove (5) is located against the end face of the non-slotted pressure ring (2). A longitudinal slot (4) is provided from the pressure ring end face up to the edge of the cable sleeve or jacket.
