The trolley for handling moulds for cast gypsum plates has a frame (5) supported on wheels for travelling on rails, with an upper structure (7) carrying ahead of it pairs of plates (8) which grip the moulds (28) between them. The moulds are then lifted and conveyed to the next working station. The moulds (28) are initially retained by a rod which is raised and lowered at the side of a platform carrying a rod at the top which is lowered on top of the moulds to hold them down. The plates (8) on the handling devices are then inserted, and when they grip the moulds, the rod is raised to free them. A mechanism operates on rods (13) through the plates to give the gripping action. A cylinder operated mechanism then lifts the plates. |
