<p>PURPOSE:To check the misconnection of an extension cable by sending the positional information of a connector connected to each extension cable to a card unit through the extension cable connected to the connector and allowing the card unit to decide the position of the connector. CONSTITUTION:Connector position information formed by a positional information generating circuit 11 connected to the connector 12 side of each extension cable 30 is sent to the card unit 20 through the extension cable 30. A processor 21 discriminates the position of the connector 12 connected to the extension cable 30 by comparing the positional information with positional information previously set in a table 23 in each position of the connector 12 correspondingly to the received positional information. Consequently, the connection of the extension cable can be automatically checked.</p> |
