PURPOSE:To execute heat treatment in wide range by arranging condensing lens in a nozzle part at eccentric position to a beam axial center and a holding mounter for the condensing lens as rotatable as centering the beam axial center and rotating a defocus face. CONSTITUTION:As defocus face with which the surface of a quenching material W laid on a working table is irradiated is fitted as shifting the beam axis (b) of the condensing lens 8 to the beam axial center (a), the center is shifted from the beam axial center (a) and the irradiation is executed between A and B or A' and B'. By rotating a motor 6, the rotating axis 5 is rotated and at the time of eccentrically rotating the condensing lens as centering the beam axial center (a), the material W to be quenched is irradiated with laser beam while rotating in the circle having radius OA or OA' and the material W is heated. By horizontally shifting the nozzle 2 or the material, the heat treatment on the surface of the material in the wide range is obtd. By this method, the heat treatment in the wide range is executed and also only by changing the nozzle, changes of cutting and the heat treatment can be executed. |
