PURPOSE:To prevent the squeezing out of molten resin from welded seam in the production of a plastic container, e.g. humidifier, etc., by rotational friction welding, by providing the welded seam with a space to keep the molten resin. CONSTITUTION:An upper half 4 of a container is bonded to a lower half 5 thereof by rotational friction welding. Squeezed molten resin is kept in a space 12 between the surface 5A and 5B. The gap 11 is designed to be as small as possible to prevent flowing out of the molten resin. |
