PURPOSE:To keep an adjusting screw independent from the revolution of a plunger, by placing a variable discharge cam between the plunger and the adjusting screw. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm 15 is displaced in accordance with the exhaust pressure of an engine, then a variable discharge cam 16 is transferred toward the direction corssig the axis of a plunger 9 to control the stroke of the plunger and change the amount of discharge. The forwarding of an adusting screw 18 can also displace the cam 16 to the plunger's axial direction to adjust the discharge. Since the variable discharge cam 16 is placed between the adjusting screw 18 and the plunger 9, the revolving force of the plunger 9 is not transmitted to the adjusting screw 18 to disturb the adjustment. |
