PURPOSE:To prevent falling-out and breaks of fibers of a brush to stabilize the destaticizing action for a long time by attaching a flexible protective sheet to the destaticizing brush. CONSTITUTION:A destaticizing brush 6 consists of a supporting member 7 made of Al or the like, a fiber bundle 8, and a protective sheet 9 made of polyester or the like, and the front end of the sheet 9 is drawn back from front ends of fibers 8. The brush 6 is set in the vicinity of a cover 4 of a carrying part 20 of an image forming device so that the side of the sheet 9 is brought into contact with the front end of a transfer material. At the time of both sides copying in this device, the transfer material whose one face is formed with an image is carried on a carrying path consisting of an endless belt 3 and the cover 4 from a fixing part 14 through a flapper 1 and is placed on a tray 5 and is entered into an image forming part 10 again to form an image on the other face, and the transfer material is ejected to a sorter part 30. |
