Supports are provided between a winding support table and a lower compression frame, serving simultaneously as a coolant supply pipe, the supports being on either side next to the lower yoke. The supports (2) have channels (13, 14) for the coolant, starting from a common inlet aperture in the lower compression frame (1). One channel (13) opens into an aperture of the coil support table (3) underneath the over-voltage coil (5), while the other channel (14) opens into a table apertures underneath the low voltage coil (7). In the latter channel is mounted a labyrinth as a flow resistor for adjusting the ratio of the partial coolant flow to each coil.
