PURPOSE:To apply chemical fibers to a metal at low cost with high productivity, by pressing the contact parts between the and metal chemical fibers with a pressing jig containing radiofrequency induction heating coils to heat the metal, and by applying the fused fibers to the metal. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the metal plate 1 processed into a given shape is covered with the cushioning material 3 and chemical fivers 2. The contact parts 2' between the metal plate 1 and fibers 2 are pressed by the pressing jig 9 containing the radio frequency induction heating coils 6, through which water passes, and the receiving jig 8, and the metal plate 1 is heated by the coils 6 with electricity conducted to fuse the fibers 2 in contact with the plate 1. The fivers 2 are then cooled and solidified under pressure, and applied to the metal plate 1. EFFECT:Application can be completed in a short time without requiring adhesives. USE:Exterior facing of foot warmers, application of cushions to the roofs of automobiles. |
