<p>The passenger lift is especially for a very high crane with a vertical mast or for a similar construction machine. The upwards and downwards movements of the lift cab are controlled by a mechanism carried by the machine. There is a safety system with a device to continuously measure and establish the cab speed. There is also a device to brake and stop and cab as soon as the speed exceeds a given threshold. There are also soft, deformable and elastic elements which stop the cab in a shock-free manner. These elements are arranged between the safety devices and the cab to connect these two together.</p> |
