An open sleeve (18) of elastic material has its ends (6) folded outwardly and forwardly to form two projecting edges. The sleeve is applied around a tube (1). The other part of the connection comprises a piece (20) having a plane face which is fixed against a wall (21). Piece (20) has an opening (10) to receive a cylindrical part of tube (1) and a rectangular opening which is rebated to provide a surface (14) on the wall side. The ends (6) of the sleeve are passed together to pass through the opening so that, on release they engage surface (14), retaining the tube (1).
