In the injection moulding of shoes made of plastics which contain a velvet, terry or plush fabric as lining, the method is as follows: Firstly, a shoe material consisting of a lining made of plastic fibres in velvet, terry or plush fabric is applied to the inner mould of the injection-moulding mould. The lining contains on its basic fabric a woven cotton material on the sole and a knitted cotton material on the side and on the shaft. The insole is then glued on. Subsequently, the shoe upper made of hot-injectable synthetic elastomers is injected on. Finally, the sole is applied, normally in a second injection process. The method makes it possible to produce for example lined cross-country ski boots in one manufacturing operation.
