PURPOSE:To detect the breakage of a rotor conductor irrespective of the distortion of applied voltage and its unbalance by detecting the difference of an instantaneous value owing to the phase difference in two winding currents a single phase component parallel winding. CONSTITUTION:For 1-phase 3-parallel windings A1 to A3, CT1 and CT2 are set set up and the difference of an instantaneous value owing to the phase difference in the A1 and A2 currents. When a rotor conductor rotates normally, voltage breakdown is also equal since both the size and the phase of the output current in both current transformers are matched. Accordingly, there is no voltage between the cathode and the gate of a control rectifier element TR1 and TR1 is OFF. When breakage occurs in the rotor conductor, the magnetic flux intersection of a parallel circuit differs in A1 and A2 and the instantaneous value of the current is different. As a result, the voltage breakdown of R1 and R2 differs and the rectifier element TR1 turns ON. Moreover, a relay RY can be operated and the breakage detection signal of the rotor conductor be obtained. |
