The method of transferring the contents of one container to another container has a body (10)with a connection (16) at the top for connection to a suction sourcE. A side outlet (14) is connected to a container from which the contents are to be removed, and a bottom outlet (12) is inserted in the container to be filled. Inside the body is a ball valve (22). The bottom outlet is divided into two channels by a central partition (32). One channel forms the entry channel for the material to be transferred, the other channel acts as an air escape.
