Alarm system for car accidents - automatically dials emergency number via car radio telephone and replays tape recorded emergency message

The alarm system, for motor vehicle accidents, sends a recorded massage via the public radio communications network (car telephone network) when an accident occurs. The output of a tape recorder is connected to the telephone set's LF circuit, which is also connected to the output of a microphone's preamplifier. An alarm button (operated by the driver) disconnects the headset's loudspeaker and the microphone from the LF circuit, connects the microphone plus preamp. and the tape recorder's output to the LF circuit and switches on the tape recorder. The button also initiates the dialling of a preprogrammed emergency number to which the recorded emergency massage is replayed. The microphone which is now-sensitive picks up the noises of the accident within e.g. a radius of a few metres.
