<p>The uncoupling device is for accommodation of horizontal oscillations between foundations and base unit, esp. as applied to high-tension apparatus in an area subject to earthquakes. The base unit is horizontally displaceable, movement being limited by a spring element which connects base unit and foundations. The spring element (7) incorporates one or more annular springs (6). The base unit (3) and foundations (4) may be superimposed flat slabs, while the spring element is a tensile bar (15) passing through holes (13, 14). The top and bottom ends are seated in ball joints interposed.</p> |
