Wiper drive for vehicle rear window - with ends of wiper linked to belt drives driven by different ratio cogs

The trapezoidal window is cleaned by a vertical wiper strip (20) supported between two runners (5) set on upper and lower endless drive belts. The belts are driven by a reciprocating gearing from a common motor and are driven at different rates to cover the trapezoidal area. The drive cogs have different diameters and are mounted on the same motor shaft. The whole drive mechanism is simple and efficient.
