The regulator holds the pressure of a gas in a secondary pipe constant against variable primary pressure. The diaphragm chamber (12) of the regulating valve (1) communicates with an injector (6) consisting of an axially adjustable nozzle (4), an adjusting rod (5) in the nozzle and a venturi (7). The injector inlet port (21) is connected to an inlet device located in the gas pipe after the valve. The injector suction port (2)3 is connected to the diaphragm chamber through a connecting pipe (3a) and the venturi outlet (22) is connected by a further pipe (3) to a point in the gas pipe further downstream than the inlet device.
