Circuit arranged for the retention at rest of an effective component and the free circulation of a work medium involves a hydraulic pump (6), a main control valve (3), and an operative component fitted with a hydraulic piston-cylinder assembly (1). With the main control valve (3) of the operative component (1), a similar valve (2) is connected in series and works in its rest position as a free circulation valve on the pistont-cylinder (1) pressure side. It also has no influence in its work position on the normal work process of the effective component.
