PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device that can appropriately complete an inquiring process.SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device executes inquiry processes for making a display part display inquiry information for inquiring presence/absence of injection of ink in response to output of a completion signal by which completion of ink injection can be estimated and receiving through an operation part first operation or second operation (S15 and S17); continues the inquiry process until receiving the first operation in the inquiry process (S15) which is executed in a state where a first value is set for an initial flag and executes an initial process in response to reception of the first operation (S16); and executes a release process (S18) for allowing a recording part discharge ink in response to reception of the first operation or the second operation or the fact that time elapsed after starting the inquiry process reaches a threshold time in the inquiry process (S17) which is executed in a state where a second value is set for the initial flag.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
