Rigid concrete, steel, or similar outer tank is internally lined on walls with impermeable membrane composed of vertical rows of rectangular troughs with their horizontal edges staggered. Troughs are welded together at corners and slidably anchored to outer wall, e.g. slotted guides in their outer faces. Lowest wall plates are bent back at corner. Floor consists of elastic lining on load-bearing insulating layer. |
