Synthetic filament yarn crimping process - incorporates a stabilising zone so that all stages can be structured independently

The process to crimp continuous filament yarn has a stabilising zone directly after the airstream texturising jet where it is drafted without heating so that there is no elastic or plastic distortion. Directly after the stabilising zone, the yarn moves into a fixing zone with a shrinking and thermal treatment up to 245 degrees C, where the surface speed of the extracting rollers from the fixing zone is less than speed at which the yarn leaves the texturising zone. The system allows each process stage to be structured to optimum effect, independently of all the other stages in the whole process and without any compromise in balancing the effects.
