Direction finder for incident angle of HF oscillation - makes phase comparison between auxiliary and incoming signals

A direction finding system is used. It is able to determine the angle of incidence of electromagnetic high frequency oscillations. The output voltages of an intersecting directional aerial array will provide the measuring parameters. A phase comparison is made between an auxiliary voltage and the direction finding voltages, taking only the larger of the two directional voltages. The system is operated digitally with a number of counters. There is also a number of phase meters to compare the components of the voltages.
