The device for erecting blinds and curtains at windows without the aid of a ladder consists of fixing runner rails vertically to the walls. On each clip is a metal piece bent at an angle of forty-five degrees, to which the blinds or curtains board is attached. A guide bar is fixed to the clip and metal piece, enabling the curtain board to be raised to the required height where it is then clamped to the bottom end of the runner rail. The length of the curtains can be altered easily, and the board already used can be used again.
