<p>The pneumatic jet for general use is designed for noise reduction and to give a safe air jet. The nozzle (1) contains a hollow tube (7) and its side entry holes (9) are blocked by an O-ring (10) when aligned with the centre line of the nozzle. This discharges into a cap (11) with a central outlet (13) through a conical block (14). When the cap and tube are tilted, air can be discharged through the tube and pass around the conical block. At the same time, the gap between the cap and the nozzle varies, and air (12) is drawn in at the sides. Air (e) also enters slots in the side of the cap.</p> |
