The locking strip is used for holding in position shuttering planks between which concrete is poured. The locking strip passes through the planking of the shuttering and a tube set in concrete which enables this strip to be recovered after the concrete has set. The tube is flattened to conform to the strip shape. The tube has spikes for anchoring into concrete. The locking strip has slots for inserting the locking wedge and slots for inserting the stop wedge. More than two stop wedges slots are provided. The spacing of the two sets of slots is different in order to provide stepless adjustment of the slotted strip to given shuttering widths. |
