Compsn. contg. epoxy! resin and carboxyl copolymer - or polyester, stabilised with pyridinium salt, giving mechanically strong coating

A heat-hardenable, liq., one-component compsn. contains a mixt. of (a) a copolymer or polyester contg. COOH gps., and (b) an epoxide resin, with (c) a pyridinium salt as hardening catalyst. Compsn. has improved storage stability, and gives coatings with very good mechanical properties. The compsn. is esp. used as a coating on household equipment and as a filler in the automobile industry.
