The inlet pipe for the gas passes from the bottom of the tank through the adsorbent material layer on its porous support plate and the gas emerges opposite to a deflector plate mounted on the inner wall of the top of the tank. The gas flow and hence the adsorbption/desorption in the layer are comparatively uniform. |
