PURPOSE:To provide the subject device wherein molten metal spray preventing covers are provided at positions corresponding to both ends of a strip advancing in proximity of the bath surface, whereby only one side of the strip can be accurately plated. CONSTITUTION:A strip 1 advances by changing its direction to the horizontal direction by means of a first guide roll 8 provided at slightly upper part from the bath surface, and the lower part of the strip comes into contact with the bath surface raised by applying supersonic wave vibration to the tip 4 and is wet by molten metal, and plated. Then, the strip 1 is left from the bath surface by a second roll 9, and changes its advancing direction upward, and carried out of the plating device. In this case, when molten metal spray preventing covers 10 and 11 provided at positions corresponding to both ends of the strip advancing in proximity to the bath surface, the molten metal spraying by the supersonc wave vibration is prevented from adhering to the upper surface of the strip. |
