PURPOSE:To provide a heater for a Stirling engine with uniform thermal distribution, and thermal durability and flexibility by having a continuous heating pipe without a welded or brazed joint in the middle for the heater of a Stirling engine. CONSTITUTION:In a four cylinder Stirling engine with a expansion chamber 7 and a heat accumulator 6 being connected by a heating tube 3 which constituted a heater 4, said heater 4 is formed by an outer heating tube 31 and an inner heating tube 32 arranged in double row within each 90 deg. arc, an expansion cylinder 5 of the expansion chamber 7 and a housing 9 of the heat accumulator 6 being connected by said heating tube 3 respective connection of which is done by welding or brazing and the like, the upper portion of said heating tubes 31 and 32 forming a quarter sphere over each 90 deg. arc and the vertical portion of said heating tubes forming a cylindrical shape as a whole. Number 1 in the illustration denotes a heating burner. |
