<p>PURPOSE:To prepare a conveniently handleably dried effective component of distillers' solubles, useful for the dultivation of edible fungi and the preparation of sake yeast, baker's yeast, etc.m by drying clear liquid obtained by centrifuging or filtering distillers' solubles. CONSTITUTION:Distillers' solubles or its concentrated product is centrifuged at >=50,000 g.min, pref. >=70,000 g.min, of filtered in the presence of a filter aid, to remove the floating ingrdients, fats, etc. The clear filtrate thus obtained is optionally fractionated according to the molecular weight by molecular sieve, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, etc. The clear filtrate or the fractionated product is dried by conventional means such as spray dryig, freeze drying, drying after precipitation, hot air drying, etc., to obtain dried distillers' solubles.</p> |
