Polyamide coatings which are adhesive and resistant to hot water are produced on metal objects by "eddy" sintering using a mixture of an epoxy-modified alkyd resin and an unsatd. polyester resin as an adhesion-promoting intermediate layer. Alkyd resin contains e.g. 10-20% by wt. epoxide fractions, or is a resin based on linseed oil or castor oil. Unsatd. polyester resin is e.g. a styrene-free, acid resin. |
