The terminal block has a relatively stiff section containing the contacting part of a connecting element. It produces a reliable crimp connection of the insulation of the conductor with no crimping metal between the housing and the insulation. The housing consists of two sections formed by different electrically insulating materials. Together the sections (3, 4, 5) form a channel, for the connecting bracket and the electrically insulated conductor. The channel extends axially inside the block. A section of the channel will contain the contacting part of the element and the other section will contain the crimping part.
