<p>The citrus fruit squeezer is motor driven and consists of at least one cone which can be made to move axially from a top to a bottom position in which an electrical interlock is closed. At least one sieve is positioned underneath the cone and turns in unison with the cone. A scraper which is locked in position in relation to the sieve when the cone is in its top position transfers the flesh of the fruit into a waste collector. The scraper is mounted on the cone so that it can turn on its axis and come into contact with a stop piece only when the cone is in its top position. A deceleration mechanism immobilises the motor for at least one revolution of the cone, after the cone has returned to its top position.</p> |
