The flooring element for public buildings consists of a base body (10) from which ribs (11) project upwards, intersecting each other to define squares capable of receiving rigid flooring elements (13). The bottom of the base body can have undercut projections (12) for fixing the base body (10) to the subfloor by anchorage in mortar or plastic adhesive, or can be smooth if an adhesive is used. Ribs adjacent to neighbouring elements (15) have half the thickness in order to maintain the correct spacing and the symmetry of the arrangement. The ribs (11 and 15) can widen at the root and their visible face can be concave. <IMAGE> |
