<p>Mixing needle for connecting sealed containers by piercing the containers with the needle through their penetrable portions, e.g. corks. The mixing needle comprises a pipe (1) into which is inserted a partition strip (2). The partition strip (2) extends beyond both extremities of the pipe so as to form cutting edges. These cutting edges facilitate the penetration of the pipe into the sealed containers through their penetrable portions, so that the content of one sealed container can be transferred rapidly into the other or mixed with the content of the other. By using this mixing needle, the contents of a sealed container, such as a medicament, can be easily and sanitarily mixed with the contents of another container. </p> |
