The fitting plate is used for holding a furniture hinge on a supporting wall. This plate has on its underside two plugs which are inserted into holes in the supporting wall. This fitting plate is used for doors covering the furniture front or sunk between furniture walls. The mounting plate (34) has on its underside several plugs (36). The plate can be rocked or bent so that only one of these plugs engages with a hole if required for particular positioning of the hinge mounting plate. If required both plugs can be fitted into holes drilled at standard spacing in the furniture wall.
