Three=dimensional imaging system - uses superimposed perspective images and several light sources for illuminating object

The 3-d imaging system has an object illuminated by a number of light sources, e.g. arranged symmetrically. Individual images of the object with differing perspective are recorded at spaced points in the plane of a recording surface, via an orthogonally adjustable shutter mechanism. These individual images overlap one another, so that a multi-layer image of the object is obtained. Alternatively, adjacent parts of the object may be recorded as separate perspective images on a number of recording supports, with these images superimposed by tomosynthesis, to obtain a single multi-layer image.
