Weaving cards are mfd. from separate laminate strips laid together with their planes parallel but sepd. by the windings of coil springs which serve as spacers, the ends of the laminar strips being set into a hardening cpd. To achieve perfect alignment and spacing, the laminate bundle is laid flat side down on a support table and the spring are then inserted, pref. with their winding direction alternating left and right. The bundle is then inverted so that the weft channel at the back of the bundle is laid on a tongue, the support table ensuring correct alignement and an additional spring is inserted on the flat side. The bundle is then clamped by means of a yoke with elastic feed onto the table and the laminate ends are set into the hardening cpd. The weaving card produced is perfectly aligned so that there is minimal interference to the passage of the thread through the rear channel.
|
