The balljoint box spanner reaches bolt heads or nuts in confined spaces. The fastener released by spanner is firmly held by spanner and cannot be lost. The spanner has a dished spring or a braking disc (9). A flexible magnetic foil (10) is fastened on the spring adhesively. The magnetic foil is a flexible plastics based foil which follows the change of shape of the disc. The foil does not contact the ball joint nut.
