Dismantlable catamaran with surfboard type hulls - has linking beams secured by cotters which also hold light alloy deck frame

The dismantlable catamaran uses two surfboard-type floats as hulls. Above the upper surface of each of these, near the ends, sockets-pref. rectangular in cross-section - are mounted horizontally, in parallel and an equal distance apart. Crossbeams (1) fit into these sockets and are held by cotters (2) secured by split-pins. The forward beam carries a mast mounting (5). Flat lugs on an aluminium tube frame (6) for the decking allow this also to be secured by the cotters.
