<p>The capacitor dielectric is in the form of a cylindrical body with electrodes formed by thin conductive layers. Each electrode is connected to a contact cap provided each at opposite ends of the ceramic cylinder. The conductive layer (4) is applied in a continuous manner from one contact cap (2) to the other on the cylindrical body (1) outer surface (5). After the contact caps have been finally secured, each contact layer is interrupted between the caps. Preferably the pretinned caps are secured by passing current through the same and the conductive layer, with subsequent heat generation. Alternately the caps may be soldered, using one or several high frequency loops. During soldering the cylindrical body may be rotated about its axis.</p> |
