SEVOOTRACK WRITING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To uniformalize the locating sensitivity over the whole track by controlling a writing circuit in accordance with the position of a servo- track writing head so that servo-signal may be written in a high writing current at an outer peripheral track. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder resistor 5 is set with a cylinder address, in which a writing head 2 is positioned and which is converted into analog voltage by means of a D/A converter 6 so that the level the writing current to be fed from a writing circuit 7 to the head 2 is controlled. By selecting the relationship between the writing current and the cylinder position in the manner shown in the Drawing, the difference in the locating sensitivity between the outer peripheral track and the inner peripheral track is reduced.
