A system for transferring valuables between a building 2 and a transport vehicle 10 includes an armoured window 1 with lockable opening in the facade of the building. The vehicle 10 has a transfer tube 8 which can be extended from the vehicle through the window 1, so that the valuables can pass between the building and the vehicle without requiring any manual handling. The tube 8 has a ball joint 9 so that it can be easily lined up with the window 1. The tube 8 has a lockable door at its outer end. The vehicle 10 has door locks which can only be opened from outside, a speed regulator and a permanent emitting radio device to locate it.
