<p>The dish aerial uses an auxiliary reflector to return the transmitter emissions to the reflecting surface of the main dish. The auxiliary reflector (2) is fitted with additional elements (5) round at least part of its perimeter. The additional elements can be set at an angle (alpha) to the plane (E) of the auxiliary reflector, and face towards the main aerial reflector. The elements (5) can be shaped to give the required performance in any particular case.</p> |
