<p>PURPOSE: To easily package, mount and connect modules to a printed circuit board by applying the constitution that a housing module and a reinforcement module are provided for connecting the printed circuit board as a connection object, and then a contact module is electrically connected to the printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION: This connector is formed to have a housing module 16 for two sections 40 and 60 secured to a main board 14, a dependent contact point module 110 mounted on the housing module 16 and a reinforcement module 90 mounted on an auxiliary board 12. The main board 14 and the auxiliary board 12 have the prescribed geometric conducting patterns, and the patterns include distributed inter-connections 31 for signals and power, as well as a unitary grounding strip 32. Also, cam action becomes available through the collaboration of the contact module 110, the housing module 16 and the reinforcement module 90. In this case, the reinforcement module 90 and the housing module 16 are integrated with each other for giving an integrated structure. According to this construction, all the modules can be easily mounted on and connected to a printed circuit board.</p> |
