PURPOSE:To facilitate and ensure the attachment and detachment of a screen drum by moving the screen drum along its axis of rotation along a supporting cylindrical frame. CONSTITUTION:When a front plate 25 is extracted in the direction of arrow A, a bearing 54 is disengaged from a screen drum 6 together with a bearing plate 24. Then, a stopper 56 mounted to a stationary shaft is removed, and an extended shaft 29 is connected to a shaft 5 through a screw 30 to extract a flange 46. Then, the drum 6 can be moved stably along the axis together with a cylindrical frame member 14 for supporting the drum 6, which is equipped in its inside with a corona discharger. As a result, the attachment and detachment for replacement of the drum 6, which is mounted on the member 14 supported stably, can be easily and surely accomplished without hauting a soft screen which form the drum 6. |
