PURPOSE:To increase the signal delivery speed, by providing the subtraction circuit causing the output in proportional to the difference of the output of the CCD integrator. CONSTITUTION:Since the transfer voltage fed to the transfer electrodes E1A and E1B of MCCD 20 and 30 are at zero level, the charge injected to the channels CHia and CHib is not flown to the bits of the MCCD integrator. Next, the potential fed to the source S is increased and the charge flown to the channels CHia and CHib is returned to the source S, but the charge of amount determined with the potential formed with the input signal fed to the signal input gate electrode IG is stored in the channels CHia and CHib. The transfer potential of the transfer electrodes E1A and E1B of the MCCD integrators 20 and 30 is at a positive potential and the charge stored in the channels CHia and CHib is flown to the MCCD integrator by exceeding the surface channel potential under the electrodes. |
